What is Broad-Spectrum CBD?
Broad Spectrum CBD is extracted from either the whole hemp or cannabis plant – and in this case we are talking about hemp-extracted. When we say ‘whole plant’ we mean the flowers, leaves, sticks and stems are included in the extraction method. After extraction, other cannabinoids such as CBG as well as the plant’s terpenes (flavour profile), vitamins and minerals are left. What is CBG?
Cannabigerol (CBG) is commonly known as a ‘parent’ molecule and when broken down creates other cannabinoids such as CBD and THC. CBD and CBG will not get you ‘high’ and in fact, both help to reduce the intoxicating properties associated with THC.
